Club Info
The USNMC, formed in 1991, is the parent club with the AKC. Though the Neapolitan Mastiff has been in the United States for many, many years before, the breed was officially recognized as an AKC breed in 2004. The USNMC has a lot to offer the Mastino lover and fancier. One can find information ranging from health concerns, local shows, past National winners, network with other Mastino owners and how to locate a breeder. A newcomer to the breed can find the breed standard, browse pictures of Mastini from around the world, and meet a diverse group of Mastino lovers who share the common interest of raising, training, breeding and competing.
The USNMC sees the need to take a more proactive role in protecting the rights of dog ownership and strives to stay informed on current dog legislation. The NeoGram is the club magazine which offers current articles from the club committees, show wins, brags, and advertisements.
