An informal poll of the membership in 2008 indicated that members want more but due to lack of resources (volunteer time and club funds) it is only possible for the USNMC to produce one printed publication. Recognizing that, the Board voted to send members club news in a monthly emailed Newsletter and to provide one Annual printed Neogram.
To be most efficient with this publication it has been decided that there will be an annual review which will be published around Feb the year after. We realize this means that the membership will not receive a paper copy of the Neogram until Feb, 2012, not in calendar year 2011.
To assist with our efforts we would ask the membership to submit photos and articles to the editor We need material to cover the 2011 National and Regional Specialties, Meet the Breeds events, photos for the Eukanuba Top 25 for 2011.
Mini-Neogram
This club newsletter is emailed monthly to club members who note that they have and use an email address. It is printed and mailed in black-and-white booklet form, to club members who use or prefer regular mail.
This item contains committee reports, board meeting minutes, club announcements and information club members submit to be published to other members.
Club members are invited to submit photos, articles, and letters they believe will be of interest to other club members. If a club member wishes to run an ad in the monthly mini-neogram, a fee of $10 a month is being assessed. Ad should be submitted pre-formatted in WORD or WORD compatible format to the Club Secretary.
Annual Neogram
This club magazine is a year-in-review for the club, club activities and its members. It will be printed, with color pages and black-and-white, and mailed to club members as a benefit of membership. Additional copies may be purchased as long as they are available.
