Motion made to accept minutes from November 11, 2007 as read made by Nikki Stamper and seconded by Jennifer Groves. Motion passed.
President’s message: Best wishes for happy holidays extended to all. Mrs. Costello will be out of town until January 2nd.

Motion made by Donna Welty to pay Sue Luedemann $340.00 for trophies and $41.00 for Judges’ gifts used for Travis County Specialty show. Seconded by Kendail Gonzales. Brief discussion. Vote taken 6 ayes, 4 nays. Motion carried
Treasurer – Irene O’Connor – gave a brief history of the Putnam Fund amount of $3843.62. This account should be dissolved and amount deposited into the General Fund. Also, notification from Rockford in reference to insurance policy for board was noted.

Website – Karl Groves called in and gave a brief summary of progress to date. He also asked for volunteers to help out.
Neogram – Heather Welty sent word that it is at the printers! Final proofing to be done.
Fundraising – liaison Nydia Thornton

Judges’ / Public Education – liaison Sharon Costello
Materials sent to California for AKC Meet the Breeds at Eukanuba for December 13th. Sharon Costello provided general educational materials for hand-outs to the public. Thank you’s were given to Shani Stewart Robbins for making color copies of breed standards and to the volunteers to man the booth. To date, Dr. Scalia, Thierry Paretore, and Joyce Wolfe have volunteered. Thank you to Jim Deppen for organizing booth and for volunteering to help man the booth.
2008 Nationals and Awards – Showchair Jennifer Groves.
Mrs. Groves reported that the Premium is done. Saturday will be the National, Sunday will be a Regional Specialty and Monday will be a Supported Entry. Trophies have been paid, the cake is paid. The VIP committee will start in January. She has not heard from Danny in regards to the logo. A print has been donated by Dan Renfrow. Auction items are needed. Ribbons have been ordered.

Shani Stewart Robbins would like to change the terminology of Code of Ethics Committee to Ethics Committee to avoid confusion.

Membership - liaison Anita Goetz
Mrs. Goetz informed us that all renewal forms have been sent out. Cathy White will be mailing membership cards out in January. Updating of members information should be returned with renewals. Cathy White has some innovating ideas for new members.
By-Laws Review – liaison Kendail Gonzales
Committee has identified three areas where verbage needs work – membership, meeting attendance, and one more to check
Local Clubs – liaison Nikki Stamper
The Garden State Club has had their holiday party, The Chesapeake Club will be having a meeting, and the South California clubs have not resolved anything to date.

Rescue status – Insurance policy has been sent via email. Restate motion made to release $2500.00
